When you come to Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley please visit us.  The Wombat Cellar Door is open most Winter Saturdays from 11am to 5.00pm, and from 10.30am to 2.45pm most Sundays.  We are also open most public holidays.  If that doesn’t suit, please call Ian Napier on (02) 65747357 and arrange for a special tasting for your group. 

This map shows where we are in the Pokolbin area.  We are on The AROUND HERMITAGE wine and food trail, so make a day of it and visit the boutique wineries and terrific cafés and restaurants at this end of the valley.  It’s a little quieter than the central areas, and you can look forward to more individual attention when you come to these cellar doors. Many of the wineries have won trophies and medals at the wine shows, and most offer individual vineyard wines for tasting.
